What is this initiative?
The Stout Technology Transfer Institute (STTI) in partnership with city and county economic development specialists throughout Western Wisconsin are providing technical assistance to inventors, entrepreneurs, and start-up manufacturing companies in an effort to help create more high wage jobs.
Through this initiative we are providing training courses and seminars on requested topics, as well as hands-on product ideation and rapid prototyping services. In addition, business and market analyses and planning services are made available to clients.

What has it accomplished?
Clients and companies throughout Western Wisconsin benefit from the services of this initiative and its partners.
In 2006, this initiative:
- Presented over 40 events focused on product development, business development, lean manufacturing, marketing, quality, purchasing, and other relevant topics.
- Provided individual technical assistance to over 50 individuals and companies.
