What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in earning your degree? The biggest challenge by far was crossing the threshold of classes that don't offer tutors. Three hundred and 400 level math meant your only resources were your professor with limited office hours and your peers. I made a lot of friends by struggling through Real Analysis. This challenge led to discovering my limits, connecting with people I never would have and really prioritizing academics above all else.

What will you appreciate most about your UW-Stout experience? I am thankful every day for the memories made here, in and out of the classroom. Networking with peers and faculty, making friends and learning state-of-the-art tools and techniques — I have loved everything about my time at Stout. Our education is a treasure, and whether we are 23 or 53 that education is real and can be shared with others.

What’s next in your life? My plans after commencement are to move to Madison and continue my job hunt. I am seeking a software engineering position.
