Dodge receives University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for May

Mary Dodge has received the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for May at University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Mary Dodge receives the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for May from Chancellor Bob Meyer.Dodge, of Rusk, is a shipping and mailing associate in Mail Services.

Dodge’s nomination stated: “Mary goes above and beyond for all departments to make sure items are being mailed out efficiently and cost-effectively. She greets all staff/faculty that come through with a smile and a laugh on a daily basis. Without question or hesitation, Mary helps out where needed. She steps in to any role in order to fill gaps when someone is out of the office. Every department could use a Mary.”

Chancellor Bob Meyer presents each winner with a certificate of recognition, a UW-Stout coffee mug and a check for $100.

Students, faculty and staff may nominate a university staff member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the university community. The award, now in its 11th year, was established by the Chancellor’s Office.
