Brief Biography: Dr. Sarah Wynn is the Interim Director of the TRIO Student Support Services and Director of the McNair Scholars Program at Stout. She received her BA and MA from Missouri State University and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Ph.D in Creative Writing--Poetry. She has been active in the TRIO community, including on the board for the state and regional TRIO associations.

Teaching Interests: First Year Experience, Career Development, Financial Literacy, Undergraduate Research, Graduate School Preparation, Composition, Poetry, and Fiction

Professional Interests: Federal TRIO grants (including Student Support Services and the McNair Scholars Program) serve first-generation students, low-income students, and students with disabilities as they navigate the college experience. Specific experiences include: Administrative Leadership, Budgeting, Grant Writing, Staff Supervision, Evaluation/Annual Performance Reporting, Program Planning, Mentoring and Advising, Research Formation, Research Methods and Processes, Recruitment and Retention, and Marketing
