The Social Science Department has a long history at UW-Stout of providing introductory, advanced, and specialized courses in anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, sociology, and social work. These courses contribute to a wide range of programs, as well as in the General Education in Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences of all our students. 

The Social Science Department provides you with a variety of academic minors, combined with your major in Applied Social Science.
