Policies and procedures:

  • A Stout ID is required for students and employees. A drivers license is required for community members.

  • We encourage equipment rental reservations. Payment is due at pickup.

  • Equipment not returned during regular open hours will be charged an improper return fee.

  • A cleaning fee of $5.00 is charged if equipment is returned dirty.

  • A late fee is charged if rental items are not returned by the due date. Late fee = daily rental rate x # days late.

  • Items lost or returned damaged will be assessed. The damage or replacement fee is equal to the cost of repair/replacement.

  • Packages include all necessary equipment for the activity/sport. (e.g. canoe package includes canoe, 2 paddles, 2 personal flotation devices, tie-down straps.)

  • The weekend rate applies to any equipment rented from Friday through Monday during normal business hours.
