Dive Deeper Into the Plastics Engineering Lab's Equipment

Comprising a lecture room, plastics processing area, and plastic materials characterization lab, our Plastics Engineering Lab features a range of software, including MoldFlow and SolidWorks, and equipment to design, simulate, and manufacture plastic products and research sustainable innovation. The lab heavily focuses on processing techniques, including injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, blow molding, and rotational molding and presents the perfect environment for for dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy analysis.
