Scholarships
School Districts
Chippewa Falls Unified School District
Up to 11 students living in the Chippewa Falls Area School District can register for one residential camp for free.
Eau Claire Area School District
Up to 63 students living in the Eau Claire Area School District can receive $345 off the camp registration fee.
Grantsburg School District
Up to five students who attend Grantsburg School District can register for one residential camp for free.
School District of the Menomonie Area
Up to 49 students living in the School District of the Menomonie Area can receive $345 off the camp registration fee.

Apply for a Summer Camp Scholarship
If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please fill out this Scholarship Application. Scholarship recipients will be notified within two weeks of applying.
Payment and Payment Plan Policy
Payments or payment plans are due by May 31, 2025.
Payment plans can be setup in CampDoc.
Payment plans that are not completed by September 1st, 2025, will be canceled, and the parent/guardian will be asked to submit a new one.
Cancelation and Refund Policy
All cancelation requests must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) by a parent or guardian.
Full Refund
Cancelations received on or before May 31, 2025, will be fully refunded (excluding scholarships). After May 31, 2025, refunds will only be considered for extenuating circumstances.
Partial Refund
If a cancelation occurs within 14 days of the camp start date for extenuating circumstances, a 50% refund will be issued (excluding scholarships).
Program Changes and Cancelations Policy
The university reserves the right to make changes in programs and activities or to cancel programs if enrollment criteria are not met or when conditions beyond its control prevail. Every effort will be made to contact each attendee if a program is not held for any reason. The university's liability is limited to the refund of the program fee.
Camper Conduct Policy
UW-Stout reserves the right to dismiss any camper from the Junior STEAM or STEAM Summer Camps if their conduct, language, dress, or attitude is deemed inappropriate or disruptive. If, in the judgment of the camp administration and counseling staff, a camper’s behavior negatively impacts the well-being of others or the smooth operation of the camp, they may be dismissed. Parents or legal guardians will be notified prior to dismissal and are responsible for arranging the camper’s immediate departure from camp. No refunds will be issued in the event of dismissal due to misconduct.
