Summit Overview
The summer McNair Scholars Research Summit is a conference held in Wisconsin every year that rotates around the state. The 2025 conference will be held at UW-Stout in the Memorial Student Center. McNair Scholars Programs are welcome to attend where their students will receive workshops on research and graduate school, as well as an opportunity to present their research. McNair Scholars Programs can register here.
All of campus is encouraged to come hear the students present on August 6 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.!

Research Presentations
There will be eight rooms of presentations, grouped by student major and project theme. Each presentation will be 10 minutes followed by a 5-minute Q&A. McNair Scholars presenting should prepare a 10-minute presentation with a PowerPoint slide. Laptops will be provided for students to display their PowerPoint. The schedule is as follows:

Accommodations & Logistics
Lodging: We do not have a hotel room block. The closest hotel to campus is the Cobblestone Inn & Suites.
Parking: Please see Short Term & Guest Parking for information. McNair Programs will be given a code for the pay stations closer to the event. Please use these maps for navigation.
Budget: Our estimated cost for meals and speaker fees is $80/student. This does not include transportation or lodging. An inner university transfer will be processed after the event.
