This two-session online course introduces the basics of short-term rental hosting in a clear, approachable way. Participants will learn how to evaluate markets for investment and short-term rental suitability, common hosting platforms, setup and design considerations, guest expectations, and the realities of day-to-day hosting. Through practical examples and real-world experience, participants will gain a clearer picture of what it takes to host successfully and sustainably.

Kate Kramschuster
Kate Kramschuster is an experienced short-term rental host, consultant, and co-host. She owns and manages multiple short-term rental properties in Wisconsin, Florida, and California, including renting out her primary residence while traveling. Previously, she owned and operated a full-service property management company, which was sold in 2025. Across her own homes and those she supports, Kate has earned over 300 five-star reviews on AirBnB, with several properties recognized as Guest Favorites and ranked in the top 1% on the platform.
Kate currently operates a boutique co-hosting and consulting business, Warm Welcome, LLC, focused on helping property owners improve operations, guest experience, and overall performance. Her work is guided by a strong emphasis on exceptional hospitality—creating welcoming, well-prepared spaces and positive guest experiences that benefit both hosts and guests. In her teaching, Kate emphasizes practical, real-world guidance to help participants make informed and confident decisions about short-term rental hosting.
