Expand your students' horizons and give them hands-on experience in UW-Stout's state-of-the-art cadaver lab. Groups of up to 24 students will spend 75 minutes exploring the heart; central, nervous, digestive, and musculoskeletal systems; and full body. Layers of skin, muscles, veins, and organs will all be visible, and some organs will be passed around the group to allow for close-up investigation. In addition to these lab experiences, groups will have the opportunity to tour UW-Stout's campus, meet with admissions, and eat lunch in the Price Commons dining hall.
By combining up-close lab work with on-campus experiences, this program goes far beyond teaching students practical skills. It shows them that they are capable of working in a college environment and offers a chance to explore campus with a group they already know.
This experience is recommended for AP Biology and Anatomy classes. One chaperone for every 10 students is required.
