While all payment methods will be accepted, we strongly recommend students select Student Billing when purchasing your permit to help ensure a faster and smoother checkout process. If you do not want to use Student Billing, please make sure you have your payment method and vehicle information ready.
To help ensure everything goes smoothly for you, please keep these tips in mind:
- Before the event starts, have all the information you will need to purchase your permit.
- This includes license plate number, state your vehicle is registered in, and the make/model of your vehicle.
- Payment method if using a credit card.
- The Authenticator App will be needed to log in
- Use one of these compatible web browsers - Chrome, Firefox, Safari.
- You will have the best experience on a desktop/laptop computer using Wi-Fi rather than cellular connection on a phone.
- Visit our Parking Portal when the event begins.
- There is no need to log in early - everyone who arrives at the start time is treated the same, and early visitors do not receive priority.
- During high volume online traffic, you may be placed in a virtual queue.
- Do not refresh your browser or open multiple windows. Staying on the page is the best way to keep your place.
- The queue page will update as your turn gets closer.
- When it is your turn, you will have 5 minutes to click "Yes" and enter the site.
- Be sure to respond within 5 minutes to access the site. If you do not respond within 5 minutes, you will be returned to the queue.
Please reach out to the Parking Office with any questions (715) 232-1792 or parking@uwstout.edu
Parking on the UW-Stout campus is regulated throughout the entire calendar year, and any parking must comply with the guidelines established in the documents on this website. All legitimate parking must be authorized by Parking Services by permit, pay station, short-term meter, posted time limit, or phone authorization.
Parking information must be obtained from Parking Services. Incorrect information provided by another source is not considered a valid defense of a parking violation.
Please view parking updates on a regular basis to avoid receiving a parking citation while parking on the UW-Stout campus. All updates and news will be featured below.
Permits are sold on a first come first served basis. Some permit types (especially reserved) will sell out. If the permit you need shows "unavailable" please call or email the Parking Office during business hours for assistance with your parking needs. You may also stop in for assistance.
