UW-Stout is committed to sustainability. By reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and incorporating sustainability into the curriculum, we're constantly working to be more sustainable as a campus.

UW-Stout is a Charter Signatory of the Carbon Commitment, a higher education effort to address climate change by committing our campus to neutralizing greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. In signing the Carbon Commitment, we're also committed to accelerating sustainability research and education. Chancellor Emeritus Charles Sorensen signed our commitment on September 12, 2007.
