photo of Debra Deborah is currently serving as the Senior Program Analyst in the Policy and Evaluation Unit for the Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI).  This position provides leadership in the design and conduct of evaluation and research studies, data collection and analysis, and strategic planning for the Department to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with federal, state and agency policies and procedures.  Deborah has over twenty years of public service experience. Before joining the DBVI, she was a Research Specialist for the Virginia Department of Forensic Science.  Deborah received her B.S. in Biology from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma, received graduate training in data collection and analysis from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and most recently received PEQA certification through PEQA-TAC sponsored by the Rehabilitation Services Administration.
